The Pro XD is recognized in Construction Equipment’s Top 100 New Products of 2019, the longest-running awards program of its kind in the industry. Construction Equipment magazine is a trusted source for equipment professionals to gain new ideas and industry insights. The publication’s editors choose winning innovations based on four criteria: a top product is an advancement in technology, a new product line, offers significant improvements to existing products, or increases competition in its field.
Since its debut, the Pro XD has become an industry workhorse, with superior payload and towing capacities, as well as increased jobsite efficiency – making it the perfect fit for the publication’s award.
“Our Top 100 New Products of 2019 Award program was conceived to call special attention to the most significant new products announced each year,” said Rod Sutton, editorial director of Construction Equipment. “These awards serve to emphasize innovations, highlighting manufacturers who are investing in research and development. Their investments pay off for equipment users in the form of greater productivity, efficiency, and safety. They also ensure a competitive marketplace.”
The Pro XD was selected from a pool of several hundred products from companies representing vehicle solutions and technology advancements across the construction industry. Editors narrowed the list down to the 100 most innovative solutions in the industry by drawing upon their own in-depth experience with equipment technology and the equipment marketplace.
Polaris designed the Pro XD after extensive research with rental, government and construction industry leaders showed that customer productivity and profitability in work environments who use UTVs are driven by vehicle durability, serviceability and safety.

Additionally, the Pro XD provides customers with increased safety features, like orange seat belts and decals, standard backup alarm and horn, and a top speed of 26 mph for jobsite compliance.
